The moon splash!

Plop Plop Plop...
I heard the sudden drop.

Startled, I look out, into the open,
And, I saw the darkest of skies,
And, the void, in the sky,
Where the moon had reigned,
Now it fell, splashing, into the sea,
of my dreams.

plop plop plop...
my eyes droop, yet again, into deep sleep.
